AAF Tampa Bay Celebrates 2010-2011 ADDY Winners
TAMPA, FLORIDA, February 25, 2011 – The American Advertising Federation –TampaBay (AAF-TB) presented the 2010-2011 ADDY awards last night. Best of Bay awards went to Tampa Digital (Sales Promotion and Ad Club Promotion), Raymond James (Collateral Material), Social Forces (Non-Traditional Campaign), J.C. Newman Cigar Company (Consumer Website), ChappellRoberts (Online Campaign and Logo), and BVK Advertising (Mixed Media, National Consumer and Arts, Mixed Media Campaign), Dunn&Co. (Public Service, Poster). Cox Target Media/Valpak was the Best of Bay winner in the Local Awards category. Judges Choice awards went to Social Forces, Dunn&Co. and Tampa Digital. The prestigious Best of Show award went to ChappellRoberts for their webisode series for Wish Farms. The big winners of the night were Dunn&Co. with 13 ADDYs, ChappellRoberts with 6, Tampa Digital with 5, and Clear pH Design Firm, Commercial Art Academy @TBT, J.C. Newman Cigar Company, Raymond James, Red Frog and Trickey Jennus with 4 each. ADDYs were also awarded to local students, with the Pick of the Pros award going to Kristina Naylor fromCommercialArtAcademy@ TBT, and the Student Best of Show to Kishia Houck fromInternationalAcademyof Design & Technology. The theme of the awards ceremony was “Creative Uncaged,” and in keeping with the theme, the awards event was held at Lowry Park Zoo. AAF-TB President Barry Wallace stated “The high caliber of advertising creative that is recognized at the ADDYs is a testament to the dynamic, talented advertising market here in theTampaBayarea.” Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, the ADDY Awards honor excellence in advertising and cultivate the highest creative standards in the industry.
