Taryn Cashmere is a media sales expert, dedicated to aiding her clients in developing successful multimedia campaigns locally, regionally and nationally. Throughout her tenure in media sales in Tampa Bay, she consistently has helped her clients in developing successful radio, print, digital, television SEO/SEM/PPC and event-sponsorship strategies.
She started her career at Clear Channel Media & Entertainment in August of 2008. Taryn has won multiple awards including Annual All Star, MVP of the month (6 times) and Employee of the month at Clear Channel Media & Entertainment. She left as a Senior Account Executive, consistently ranked at the top for local business development.

Taryn joined The Tampa Bay Business Journal team in June of 2013. She continued to make her mark with new clients and was recognized as Employee of the Month.
The Tampa Bay Business Journal is one of more than 40 weekly business newspapers across the country owned by ACBJ, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advance Publications - boasting “sister” titles such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, the New Yorker, and Conde Naste Traveler.
Currently, Taryn works for ABC Action News, parent company, E.W. Scripps. She has been with WFTS-ABC since May 2015.

Taryn served on the board for Ad 2 Tampa Bay for over 7 years. She held numerous positions including Membership, Education, Events and Public Service Director. Taryn was President of Ad 2 Tampa Bay for the 2013-2014 year. Under her Presidency, the club won numerous accolades including National Club of the Year, President of the Year and 1st Place in the National Public Service competition.
Currently, she sits on AAF Tampa Bay board as Membership Chair and Incoming President for 2017-2018. In the past, she has also been the Addy Chair and Public Service Chair for AAF Tampa Bay. In addition, Taryn has been on the 4th District’s board as the Club Achievement Chair and the National Student Advertising Competition Chair. She continues to be the current National Student Advertising Competition Chair for the 4th District 2017-2018.
Taryn is alum to the Bulls receiving her Advertising degree from the University of South Florida, Zimmerman Advertising Program. She got her start in media sales at the USF Oracle. When she is not immersed in the advertising industry, her focus is on friends, family and her fur baby Conan, an adorable 150 lb Bull Mastiff.
